HomeDepot has Ecosmart Zigbee 3.0 Tunable White Dimmable A19 LED Bulb and Remote kit for $4.88

Box says Bulb is compatible with Smartthings and Echo Zigbee. But I am assuming it can be added to Hue/Wink/Hubitat because it is Zigbee 3.0. If bulb is used with hub, remote will not be usable with bulb. I haven't seen the remote connected to any hubs yet, but its possible someone might be able to write a device handler for ST/Hubitat.

Remote can pair and manage up to 20 Bulbs at once without hub.

Instore price showed $8.88 but rang at $4.88 YMMV. But you should be able to price match to their website.

I am able to simultaneously pair the bulb with both the Smartthings Hub (v1) and physical remote that came with the package.

***Updated**** . (Thanks @kittunni !)

Step 1. Unpair the bulb from the remote that came with it
Step 2. Pair the bulb to smartthings hub (this works flawlessly , I'm able to control the bulb from within the Smrtthings app too)
Step 3. Reset remote by inserting pin into remote battery door at the back and hold for 3 seconds.
Step 4. Pair remote to Smartthings (I used Classic app, couldn't see it in the new app). Remote shows up as "Thing"
Step 5. Pair remote to bulb now.

Light can now be controled via Remote AND Smartthings
Thanks for posting. I grabbed one on Sunday. The bulb is nice, very bright, and does act as a repeater for other zigbee devices. Keep in mind zigbee bulbs have been a large source of zigbee issues for many users, however these are zigbee 3.0 certified and hopefully are decent repeaters and don't drop messages. The remote is really sleek, and I paired it to both hubitat and smartthings, but it does nothing. Remote can still control bulbs but was hoping to use as a button controller, but without a driver, can't do that.

PS remote still controls bulb even when paired to hubitat, but again remote is not a button controller

Anyone know if the switch is a separate device that can be programmed for other purposes like triggering routines? Or is it tied specifically to light controls?

Going to grab some of these but I am pretty suspicious that the white temperature is variable... 2700k often times looks awful on LEDs so being variable doesn't give me a ton of faith that they got the warm color right.

I hope to be able to control these and use the buttons for other purposes with my hassio and cc2531 zigbee sniffer.

Not possible to unpair/factory reset them?

These work great and are about half the price of the next cheapest white adjustable bulb. You do have to unpair each one from their remote before using them with smartthings but it only takes about 10 seconds and they are just like any other zigbee bulb.
